Why a rollable instead of a foldable?
Rollables have no center crease and don't require an outer cover screen, making the device thinner and lighter overall.
Is the motor durable?
The micro-stepper motor is tested for 250,000 actuations. It takes about 1.5 seconds to fully expand.
What happens to the apps when it opens?
OxygenOS seamlessly transitions the UI. Videos expand, and apps split into tablet mode dynamically while the screen is moving.
Can I stop it halfway?
Yes! You can roll it out to any width you prefer, and the software will adjust.
Is it waterproof?
Because of the rolling mechanism, it is only IPX5 splash resistant. Keep it away from sand and pools.
Is the screen soft?
Like foldables, the flexible part of the screen is a polymer and can be dented by sharp fingernails.
How is the battery?
5000mAh is great, and Silicon-Carbon tech keeps it thin. The rolling motor uses very little power.
How fast is charging?
100W gets you from 0 to 100% in just 28 minutes.
Does it have a good camera?
It features the same Hasselblad-tuned sensors as the flagship OnePlus 14, including a 3x periscope zoom.
Does it come with a case?
Yes, a specially designed 2-piece case that slides open with the phone is included.
